First 5 Yolo’s mission is to assist our community to raise children who are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. We will ensure that our resources are effectively used and that all community voices are heard.
The First 5 Yolo Commission will hold the next meeting on November 18, 2020 at 3:00pm-5:00pm via Zoom.
NOTE: This meeting is being agendized to allow Commission Members, staff and the public to participate in the meeting via teleconference, pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 (March 17, 2020), available at the following link

High-quality, early education is critical to young children’s development, as it prepares them for all future learning.
Health is the foundation of children’s growth and development. Early intervention and linking families to needed services can help ensure overall positive outcomes for children.
First 5 takes a comprehensive approach to improve, coordinate and better align the systems that provide child development services, family support, and child healthcare.
