First 5 Yolo’s mission is to assist our community to raise children who are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. We will ensure that our resources are effectively used and that all community voices are heard.
The next First 5 Yolo Commission Meeting will be held on September 11, 2019 at 502 Mace Blvd Ste 15, Davis CA 95618 from 3-5 p.m.
Young children who benefit from strong parent-child relationships have greater self-confidence, do better in school, and have more positive relationships with peers.
High-quality, early education is critical to young children’s development, as it prepares them for all future learning.
Health is the foundation of children’s growth and development. Early intervention and linking families to needed services can help ensure overall positive outcomes for children.
First 5 takes a comprehensive approach to improve, coordinate and better align the systems that provide child development services, family support, and child healthcare.
