First 5 Yolo COVID-19 Emergency Relief Funding Application
First 5 Yolo has established an emergency relief funding application process for agencies serving Yolo County children 0-5 and their families and childcare providers serving essential workers in Yolo County during the COVID-19 pandemic, pursuant to Resolution No. 2020-01: COVID-19 Response, formally adopted by the First 5 Yolo Commission on April 8, 2020. First 5 Yolo will accept applications on an ongoing basis through June 30, 2020 or until allocated funds have been expended. Download the Application below.
Early Childhood Mental Health Training Scholarship Opportunities
Child-Parent Psychotherapy Learning Collaborative:
This training has been put on hold due to Covid-19. More information will be provided soon.
An 18-month training program that is intensive enough to allow most practitioners to adopt Child-Parent Psychotherapy. Trainees are placed into teams of licensed mental health professionals, to foster collaborative learning and support. The Learning Collaborative model was adapted from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network Learning Collaborative model. Training will be held in Yolo County and Scholarship Awardees will be awarded full tuition.

Ongoing Funding Opportunities
First 5 Yolo is proud to help sponsor local events, trainings, and activities that focus on young children and families, and that align with First 5 Yolo’s Mission, Strategic Plan, Guiding Principles, and Priority Areas. Sponsorship requests of up to $250 will be considered toward support of the following types of activities that are offered in Yolo County: Community Events, Professional Development/Trainings, Family Education Events, and Fundraising Events.
Starting on July 1,2017, applications may be returned via email to First 5 Yolo, as noted in the policy.
