First 5 Yolo funds local agencies to provide services linked to the priority areas outlined in its Strategic Plan. Currently, the Commission's main programs include:

  • Access to Childcare and Early Education
  • Access to Quality Healthcare
  • School Readiness
  • Universal Preschool for West Sacramento and
  • Community Engagement

Mini-Grants and Applications

In addition to our main priority areas, limited funding is available each year for Special Projects that demonstrate innovative strategies to meet the needs Yolo County's children and families.
